Saturday 16th July 2005 at 2pm at the Rogerstone Ty-Du Welfare Grounds.

Plant Sale (May 2005)
Friday 6th May at Rogerstone site. We raised
£70 just by selling plants!!
Tea Towels (December 2004)
Children in Y1 drew self portraits which were printed onto tea-towels
for parents/relatives to buy. Small, but nice, fundraiser - £60 raised.
Christmas Fayre (December 2004)
A very busy event held at St. John's Church Hall. Santa's Grotto was
especially popular. Overall about £200-£300 raised.
Summer Fete (July 2004)
Our biggest event so far. Over £1500 was raised and a great family day
out was had by all.
Trolley Dash Prize Draw (April 2004)
Over 1400 tickets were sold for this raffle, the top prize was a £200
two-minute trolley dash at the local Morrisons store. The winner was Mrs
Leah Betts of Rogerstone (a school mum!). The PTA funded the event, so
the final total raised was £1155. Well done to everyone who helped to
sell the tickets! Other winners were Mrs J. Morgan, Duffryn (£50
Morrisons vouchers); Mrs S. Sherwin, Rhiwderin (£25 Morrisons vouchers).
Mr J. Holland (Rogerstone) and Mr J. Headford (Cwmbran) both won bottles
of wine donated by Cllr Ernie Watkins. Sarah Hall (Rogerstone); Grant
(Cardiff); Mrs Scrivens (Rogerstone); Mrs Greenwood (Duffryn); Mrs
Trayhorn (Newport) and Lynnette Strange (Blaina) all won Easter eggs
donated by Morrisons.
Craft Stall (November 2003)
Many generous people donated handcrafted items for us to sell. We took
the stall to various venues and raised over £270
Mini Fashion Show (November 2003)
Children having a great time modelling Asda clothes! This event raised
over £300.
Gifts and Promises Auction (October 2003)
This was a very successful fundraiser, generating over £2000 for the
school. Items on sale included a football signed by the Welsh team, a
tour of Cardiff Airport, toys and games, restaurant meal vouchers, golf
rounds, Six Nations tickets and a VIP bingo night. All of the 100
donated lots were sold - every one at a bargain price.
